Assessment

An individualised assessment is completed based on the child's needs to identify strengths and areas requiring support made up of formal and informal assessments. Time and cost of an assessment will vary and be based on individual needs. A report will be provided outlining goals, strategies and recommendations should ongoing support be indicated.

Based on the outcome of your child’s assessment and the goals identified and prioritised with their family, a therapy plan will be developed. This may include individual sessions with our therapist, here in the clinic, offsite, groups or working with an Allied Health Assistant.

Therapy sessions are often play-based and tailored to each child’s needs. This can involve using games, activities, and adaptations to help children improve their skills and confidence in everyday tasks.

ALLIED HEALTH​ ASSISTANTS

Our Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) are an option for some children to receive cost-effective, intensive therapy support. After an initial assessment and report delivered by one of our clinicians, a therapy program is written and tailored to the individual child, to be delivered by our AHAs.

Do you need a referral?

No referral is required. Families can contact the clinic to refer their child and/or to discuss their concerns.

Is there a waiting list?

Unfortunately we do currently have a waiting list. We would advise getting in touch with our team and providing them with your child's details to be added to our waiting list.

How do we pay for services?
